  • arenson9 - ... NASCRAG was awesome! I had a really fabulous time. And gave birth. Being male, I'd never imagined that would be in my future. Little did I know what I was getting into when I sat down to a NASCRAG table for the first time three years ago and said, "I don't mind playing cross and I like singing. Sure, give me the bard ..."
  • HeadCrash - Did we place? Oh, hell no - there were so many outstanding, experienced roleplayers there, the competition was fierce. But we had a blast, and my voice is shot today even though our Gracious and Benevolent GM Team found us a table outside the ballroom, and there was singing and dancing and even more bad puns and Connor's "Shorty the Foot, Long Island Waste Management" spy accent and Daphne's 20's-flapper high-roller's floozy accent, and a noble death and Finnegan getting to punch out The Bad Guy at the end.

Damn, I had a good time.

  • bad_karma97 - I had an awesome time doing NASCRAG. I have given up Heroclix after this year and now I am searching for a central pillar to my schedule. I believe this will be it, and I plan on pimping it up for next year.
  • UslessTriviaMan - I was a member of team Sorry About Your Sister (I played Innis, and I never thought I'd get that much use out of my Drunken Scotsman bit). This was my first NASCRAG run (and my first Gen Con run), and I've gotta say it was the most enjoyable game I played all week. I think Parker/buzzardo was the awesome-est DM I've ever locked characters with in my 20+ years of gaming! The Blind Duck was hilarious, but I think he was a little freaked out when our stoned-out-of-his-gourd Finn started hitting on the gnome in the train station...

I'm a-hoping and a-praying that I'll get to come back next year, and if I do you can bet I'll have a team of crackpots crack roleplayers along with me for the next one!

  • martinl_00 - Dudes, I just want to, like, totally agree that the awesomeness that is NASCRAG is like, the most awesome and fun event at the Con. Great characters (PC and NPC), crazy fun scenarios, radically superb judges, loud and/or annoying locations. That last bit is just in there because the Universe don't like nothing being absolutely freaking perfect. Except maybe for crystals. Perhaps y'all dudes need NASCRAG crystals.
